WHY JOIN THE OLY CIRCLE?
A Mutuality Circle is a place where committed practitioners can come together and engage in responsible mutuality and awakening together. The Oly Circle is a collection of 30+ committed TA practitioners.
For many years the Olympia community has been holding rich and catalytic Mutuality Circles, and we'd love to share this special magic and connect with you.
Our Mutuality Circle can be considered a kind of "practice group," even though the Trillium path has very few practices, per se. We are practicing some of the fundamental dimensions of mutuality:
Our Mutuality Circles are structured similarly to teacher-led sittings in that we begin with silent meditation and gazing. Also, similar to teacher-led sittings, we engage topics drawn from Trillium's core teachings, and follow the exploration with individual sharing. We give (optional) peer reflections after sharing.
The Oly Circle has grown to the point where our 30+ members now split into two or three Small Mutuality Circles that meet for five months at a time. During these five months the Small Circles are closed to new members. This allows us to foster the safety, confidentiality, resonance, and trust that is so supportive of this profound work. Also, "Large" Mutuality Circle meetings are held at other times during the year.
The Oly Circle is open to new members who are moved to deepen their engagement in the Trillium work. We encourage you to take this step whenever you feel ready. After you join the Oly Circle, you will be invited to attend Large Mutuality Circles and join a Small Mutuality Circle during the "open enrollment" periods in August and January.
Visit the "How to join the Oly Circle" page if you'd like to take the next step.
Note: If you're not quite sure you're ready to commit to the Trillium work, or to a five-month small mutuality circle, feel free to continue coming to our teacher-led sittings and other events for as long as you like.

Some of the things we've heard people say about our Mutuality Circles are:
- "I feel more empowered in my process."
- "I love hearing the diversity of reflections from others."
- "Instead of the energetic focus being on the teacher, it's more like the focus is on the center and the whole... like we're all spokes in a big wheel."
- "Because there's no teacher, I feel more engaged in co-creating the container. As a result, I'm more present for the other people, and also for myself in a way."
- "I really love the feeling of all of us being in this together. It creates a sense of cohesion."
