Awakening to Heart
Realizing the Personal, Impersonal and
Interpersonal Dimensions of Love
a Trillium Awakening event in Olympia, WA
with Rod Taylor
Event Notes:
Rod Taylor (on far left), a seasoned Trillium Awakening teacher from Sook, British Columbia, offered an evening sitting on Friday, February 19, and a two-day intensive workshop in Olympia, WA on Feb 19, and 20-21. The events were held in the loft of Kirstin and Jens Eventyr's amazing "Barn" - below is a photograph looking out into the woods from the loft's big picture windows!
Subagha and Sugandhi, two delightful and intrepid mentors who travelled all the way from Twisp in eastern WA, supported the Friday evening sitting. Joining the wonderful mix of new and seasoned practitioners from Olympia was a woman from Vancouver, BC - a nice Northwest community experience! Rod gave a rich opening orientation to the Trillium path, including the radical original illuminations of Saniel Bonder as well as Rod's own evolution in the work and current emphasis on three dimensions of consciousness, which he experiences as heart.
Joanne Lee, an Olympian and co-organizer of the event, served as Rod’s mentor for the two-day intensive. Rod’s understanding of the "three dimensions of love" arose out of his own progression of heart awakening following his embodied consciousness realization. Exploring the dimensions of love and mutuality was a rich and provocative exploration for the Olympia/NW community. Mornings were reserved for the delivery of the dharma, followed by afternoons with personal shares facilitated by Rod.

ROD TAYLOR
has been practicing and teaching awakening knowledge and techniques for over 40 years. He has a Masters Degree in Adult Education, post-secondary certification in Conflict Resolution, and is a certified teacher of Trillium Awakening and Pan Gu Shengong Qigong. In 2005, through his participation in Trillium Awakening (formerly known as Waking Down), he experienced a fundamental shift into non-dual conscious embodied awakening. He realized his infinite, non-separate wholeness, simultaneously integrated with his finite nature of individual self. He now loves working with others to support their processes of awakening in wholeness and love. - For more about Rod: http://teachers.trilliumawakening.org/RodTaylor/ and www.awakeninginwholeness.com. |
