Navigating Your Awakening
By now we have all found that being on a path-of-awakening (whether it feels like this is “toward-awakening” or “into-awakening” or “further-into-my-awakening”) can have its experiential ups and downs, maybe some seemingly wrong turns, and some moments of ecstasy. Our intent is to offer some tools that can help us to “orient” on this journey. Think: “orienteering” - the skill of locating oneself in unfamiliar territory, using a map and compass. While it is always the case that “the map is not the territory”, a map can help us to orient to the territory. Getting “oriented” helps us to navigate, to see where to step next, and may help us to avoid wrong turns, and to stay out of the swamp of discouragement. But we need to be able to identify the features we encounter, in order to know which way to turn. Like the cardinal directions, in this Trillium work we share some points of reference. So we want to share with you a map that will aid you in the ongoing journey that is your awakening process. We’re coming to Olympia, and bringing our “awakening” navigation tool bag with us. We have found the tools useful, and we believe they can help you too. The Trillium weekend intensive in Olympia will include time Saturday and Sunday mornings to look at the key principles of Trillium Awakening from the the framework of ancient cosmologies that many cultures rely on even today. Our emphasis will be on practical matters … navigating, finding our way forward on the path of freeing from old forms, leaving behind old limits, and paradoxically, surrendering to the limits at the core of our existence. During the afternoons we will divide into small groups for retreat-style small group sharing. We’ve been deeply exploring the territory and tools we want to share to help you navigate your awakening. Additional Offering On Sunday morning, from 8:45-9:45am, prior to our meeting, Jeffrey and Cielle will offer one or two specific energetic empowerments which are likely to be useful tools to aid in navigating your awakening.
