EVENING WORKSHOP

Saturday, October 21, 2017

6:00 - 9:00 pm

sliding scale  $50 - $70

Coming Home to Ourselves
Awakening through the crucible of story

Our hearts are calling us home. Our ancestors are calling us home. The energies of the time make it imperative that we find and nurture home.

“Home is where the heart is.”

“There’s no place like home.”

But, what is home? What does it feel like? And, how does this feeling inform our awakening?

Written within every cell of our bodies/beings, are the vast, deep, wise stories of our ancestors…gifted to us through our parents. We ARE the memories, the hopes, dreams, challenges and triumphs of countless generations. Their stories live within us.

We are eternal. We are home. Awakening is re-membering.

Through the crucible of story, we will explore and share the gift and power of our journey and drink deeply from the nourishment we create together.

In this evening, you will:
  • Connect more deeply with yourself  + community
  • Embody your story through active story-telling
  • See your story through the eyes of others
  • Experience the beauty and power created through sharing story
  • Remember your connection to your ancestors

Many thanks to the brilliant minds and loving hearts in the Story Bridge community for supporting this evening.

Facilitator of Transformation

I am a shaman, energy healer, coach and artist. An empath, I began seeking enlightenment before I knew what it was. My 30 year journey naturally led me to energy healing, deep shamanism, integral philosophies, BioGeometry, the power and beauty of story and the hero's journey home to Love. Along the way, I traveled the world working for the World YWCA and had some extraordinary experiences.

Coming to WDM/Trillium Awakening in spring of 2004, I experienced my 2nd birth embodied consciousness awakening later that year.

Raised in a storytelling household, story has always been a part of my life. My professional use began with corporate storytelling and the work of Stephen Denning and Annette Simmons and the Smithsonian Associates Conference on Corporate Storytelling a decade ago. This was adapted and brought into my coaching practice, where I worked directly with clients. My work with Story Bridge is new and began this year.

Interning Trillium Awakening Teacher

My spiritual journey evolved out of graduate work in Imaginal Psychology, and, after discovering Trillium Awakening, landed me in conscious embodiment in 2012. This awakening finally gave me the sense of "coming home" I didn't know I longed for.

In addition to my private practice of transformative coaching, I offer workshops on on creativity, leadership, and personal growth, and am passionate about the social dimensions of awakening - deeply encountering the suffering of others and allowing oneself to be transformed by it.
