Sound Bath Ritual
Come to a magical space and distill your year into precious pearls. Step through a portal and invoke intention and blessings for the year to come. Soak in the transmission of sound, song, poem, and scent (and maybe even a gentle procession to a sacred grove of cedars).
Each participant will state their new-year intention, and the kind of sound and optional touch they would like. Then the others will collectively, spontaneously tone, hum, chime, etc. to create a delicious, harmonic, nurturing sound bath for that recipient.
Potluck
Break bread, nourish one another generously, and raise cheer in shared conviviality.
Dance
Move through the darkest night into light, with a specially curated dance journey (includes community-suggested songs), by medicine-jockey Margit.

In our awakening journey we learn to apply the practice to emotions that arise in us — with ease for those that are familiar and welcome and with a bit more rigor with those we would rather dismiss, deny or discount. Turning Radical Embrace inward is a way to love parts of ourselves that may have been rejected or found unacceptable. That inner “yes” can ease long held tension and make room for wholeness. But what happens when we turn our awareness out to the world and radically embrace that which seems unacceptable, unwanted or intolerable? Can we radially embrace Covid-19, for instance? How would we radically embrace a pandemic and what would that mean?
Come explore how these questions land in our bodies and discover the gifts Radical Embrace can deliver.

Awakening Creative Transformation: Embodying Collective Taboos of Sex and Sexualities With Joanne Lee, Kirstin Eventyr and Subhaga Crystal Bacon
December 3 - 7, 2020
This workshop, the first in a series on taboo, will focus on sex, sexuality, sexualities. We will be exploring and embodying taboo topics through the vehicles of creative expression: art, poetry, movement, sound. Morning sessions will be engagement in experiential creative expression and afternoons will be an opportunity to process and integrate in small groups. Thursday evening will start with the creation of a safe ritual container for our time together. Monday evening will be integration and ritual closing.
